Fairy Tale Mermaid

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to another fun card making tutorial. My daughter really loves Ariel, and I thought this card would be perfect for her birthday that’s coming up next month! So let’s get started.

I wanted to have a water feel because after all, she’s a mermaid. So I used watercolors for the back panel and die-cut it using My Favorite Things stitched rectangle scallop edge frame. I colored the mermaid and underwater scene using my Copic markers. I die-cut it out and arranged them on my 5 1/4 x 4 1/2 card base. To give it an extra oomph, I used my Spectrum water color sparkle pen on her hair and fin.

That’s it! SUPER easy and fun card for a little princess’ birthday. Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you next time!
