Let The Bliss Begin
Hello again crafty friends! I bought this great background stamp from Simon Says Stamp and I love how versatile it is. It’s almost like you’re getting 2 stamps for the price of 1. I didn’t want to overdue it on this card because I feel, just like the other background stamps from Simon, you may lose the beauty of the stamp if you start adding too much to it. It’s was a fun card to make, so lets get started shall we?
I pulled the center part of the stamp out and inked it up with Simon Says Stamp clear ink. Once I inked it up really well, I used my static tool and stamped my card. I added white embossing powder and heat set it. That is what gave it that look without lines. Almost a freehand look.
I chose B69, B66, B63 and B60 to color the flowers..using the darkest and blending out with the lightest. For the leaves I used YG09, YG07 and YG05 and I used the same technique as I did with the flowers. I used Y15 for the center yellow part.
I added black dots to finish the card off. That’s it! Super simple card that’s very unique. I’ll be blogging on another card featuring the outer part of this stamp, so come back and check it out.
