Hello crafty friends!  As promised, today’s blog post is going to be part 2 to the Center Cut Flowers stamp card I made a few weeks ago.  I love how SSS makes these background stamps because it can allow you to use it in more ways than just the handful you would be able to from any other stamp set.  You should definitely have a few of these in your stamp arsenal.  So lets get started with this card.

I love the way white embossing powder looks on kraft paper so I decided to make this card using white embossing powder.  I began by using my static tool all over the card.  I’m going to be heat embossing a lot so I don’t want to miss any areas.  I inked up my stamp with SSS clear (embossing) ink.  I added my go to white embossing powder and heat set it.

Once that was done, my next step was coloring the flowers.  Since I’m still new using Polychromo colored pencils, I decided that is what I was going to color my card with.  I started with the darker colors and blended it out with the lighter ones.  I used this technique on the entire card.

Once I was done coloring, I had a fairly big area to fill for a sentiment and so I chose one from SSS Everything Together stamp set.  I added a few clear dots and that’s it.  Simple!
