Brushed Branches Background Stamp

Hello again, crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by. I’m so excited for the season change. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. The colors and weather makes it fun creating seasonal cards for your loved ones. Let’s get started!

I wanted to make the tree from this stamp look like a fall day. The stamp I used is SSS Brushed Branches Background Stamp. I inked up the tree trunk in brown..the leaves I used SSS Lemon Zest and Orange Slush inks. I carefully stamped the leaves with the different colors. Once I knew the stamp was pretty inked, I stamped it to my card panel.
Once stamped, I went in with my copic markers (Y18, Y15, YR16) to fill in the areas that didn’t get inked. Then I used my embossing pen to highlight some areas to give my image a little extra texture. I used WOW Clear Sparkle Embossing powder and heat set it. I finished off my card with the sentiment from SSS Four Seasons stamp set and used Nuvo Crystal Drops.
