Hello hello crafty friends and welcome back to another tutorial. Today I will be showing you have to make another quick and simple card. CAS cards are my favorite because how clean it looks. Less is definitely more when making these cards. Sometimes I forget that I’m making a CAS card and I panic to figure out how to place the embellishments in the correct place. But then I realize that just because my card took a lot less time to make doesn’t mean its incomplete. So lets get started! P.S. the shimmer on the card “might” be hard to see, but I promise its super shimmery!

I used Hero Arts All My Love Decorative Hearts stamp set which has so many hearts to choose from. I stamped 2 hearts in the middle of the card with SSS Intensive Black ink. This ink is soo black and crisp. There are probably other inks that are equivalent to that ink, however, I’m using what I have in my stash. So once I stamped the hearts, I colored them using my Copic markers. R59, R39 and R35. Nothing too crazy. I just blended them out. Even though this is a CAS card, I still wanted to make it unique so I chose to color a few hearts versus all of them.

Once I was done coloring, I wanted something to make the hearts pop..but not too much to take away from it being clean and simple. So I dipped my watercolor brush into Hero Arts Iridescent shimmer spray to give the hearts some love. I used the sentiment that came with the stamp set and finish the card off with a few embellishments. I was looking at it and the card would look just as good without the embellishments. That’s it! quick and simple. Who wouldn’t like that? Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you next time. The products I used to make this card and where I purchased them are listed below all you have to do is click on the image.
