You Are Incredible
Hello hello crafty friends! Thanks for coming back for another tutorial. Today I will be showing you how to make a clean and simple card with a spring vibe. Yep, that’s right! I said spring vibe. I know we still have a month until spring (which I’m not too happy about because that means summer is coming) but these colors I chose caught my eye while I was organizing my cardstock in my craft studio. So let’s get started!
The green’s I chose I thought looked fresh and new so I picked Mowed Grass, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade. Starting with Mowed Grass, I applied my color to my panel at the bottom. Since this die cut is a flower, I flipped it over as a guide to show me how far I need to go with each color. I used Twisted Citron next but not going too high. I had to keep in mind that the stem should be green (which I’m creating an actual look) but I also needed to keep in mind that I wanted a seamless blend as well.
Once I was happy with my blending, I used SSS Sweet Tulip die cut and carefully placed it on my distress pattern. I wanted to have some dimension so I cut out 4 tulips total in white cardstock and added the 5th (my distressed cut) on top of them.
I cut out a white piece of cardstock using SSS Postage Stamp Edge frame die. I had some green cardstock in my stash and thought that would look really good for my card base. I finished the card with a sentiment from SSS and added Little Lucy’s Pale Green diamond embellishments. That’s it! Quick and easy, clean and simple. I love tulips so making this card made me very happy.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you next time. The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping 🙂
