Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for coming back for another tutorial. Today I will be sharing with you how to make a card that you can give for Easter or to someone that needs support during a trying time. I’m using some distress oxide inks in this card and I haven’t used these combinations before. I’m excited to tell you how fun it is to use these inks in this card…..so lets get started!

The first thing I did was I cut my card panel to A2 size. I knew I was going to trim it down once I was done. Starting with Blueprint Oxide Ink at the bottom. I tried the Blending Brushes for the first time. Let me tell you I like them. Although, the blending sponges are what I started out with and learned from…I do like them as well. I blended the dark color first. Then I used Salty Ocean. Whether you use the brushes or the sponges, I always blend out until it’s light. It makes blending the next color easier (for me) My last color used was Cracked Pistachio. Then I went back in each color to try and get that gradient look.

I cut out SSS Dahlia Stem die cut 3 times. As you can see the last cut out wasn’t lined up correctly (oops) I used spray glue to adhere them together….for dimension. I used a SSS Tiny Words Faith sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out. I finished my card with Lucy’s Cards Ice Crystal Sequin Shaker Mix.

That’s it! A great card for your special someone. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope to see you next time. The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do it click on the image and go shopping 🙂
