We’re Blessed

Hello hello crafty friends. Welcome back to another quick and easy tutorial. Today I’m sharing with you how I made this great Easter card. It is really simple to put together. There’s some coloring involved BUT not too much. (depending on the level of detail you desire) So let’s get started.

I had some SSS Sea Glass cardstock leftover from a card kit, so I trimmed the panel down to 5 x 3.75 and used Salty Ocean oxide ink on the edges. I blended inward going lighter as I got towards the center of my card. I wanted to put my cross there. I set my panel aside.

I cut out SSS Outline Floral Cross 4 times (for dimension). I took one of the cut outs and colored the flowers and leaves using my copics. This part I feel you can use any of your favorite colors. I used: V12, 15, 17…Y2, Y8…YG05, 07, 09 and RV 10, 14 & 15.

Once I was done with my coloring, it was time to assemble my card. I stacked my floral crosses on top of each other..making sure the color one is on top. I used Elmer’s Spray glue to adhere them together and centered it in the lighter portion of my card. Then I used a sentiment in the SSS Blessed stamp set and heat embossed it in white. I finished it up with a few Shimmering Ice Fusion Sequins from Studio Katia.

That’s it! Simple beautiful card for Easter. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope to see you next time. The products I used for this project and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping 🙂
