You Can Do Anything

Hello hello! Thanks for coming back to another tutorial. Today I’m sharing a card I entered in the SSSFlickr Challenge #121. The theme is Die-ing! I decided to make a simple flower on top bright blended distress oxide inks. Let’s get started.

I started by blending a piece of #120 cardstock using Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade. I trimmed down the panel so it can fit the flower die frame. Once I did that, I used Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone. I applied it using my palette knife. When I was done evenly applying the paste, I set it aside to dry fully.

While my panel was drying, I cut out my SSS Hibiscus Frame die cut. I cut it out 3 times for dimension. I used Elmer’s Spray adhesive to glue my frames together.

When my panel was completely dried, I used my spray glue to glue on my hibiscus frame. I added it to an tangerine color card base and used foam adhesive. My sentiment is from SSS Tiny Words Encouragement. I used a black piece of cardstock and I stamped my sentiment using white embossing powder and heat set it.

Thar’s it. Very simple but has a bit of uniqueness to it. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you were able to be inspired by this card. The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping! See you next time 🙂

Don’t you love this die?!! I have it and is one of my favorites. Fantastic background!
Funny enough, this is the first time I used it. I’ve had it almost a year…lol. Its a great, simple die to have.
Is always the way. I have a few of those I need to dust off and use. 🙂
Thank God I’m not alone😂😂
