Hello hello! Thanks for stopping by. Today I made a so simple card for Easter. Let’s get right to it.

I started by embossing my panel with Hickory Smoke, Scatted Straw and Tattered Rose oxide inks. I began with the darkest color and applied my ink blending upward. I applied my ink with a lighter technique so that I would be able to blend the colors together more easily.

Once my oxide ink application was done, I set it aside just for a bit so that my panel could dry. After my panel was done drying, I used my anti static tool to prep my card for embossing power. I inked up my SSS Floral Mix background stamp with embossing ink. I used Zing Metallic powder. If you don’t have that one, Hero Arts has one that is comparable. And I heat set it.

I finished my card off my using a sentiment from SSS Tiny Words Faith stamp set. Heat set in white embossing powder on a black piece of cardstock. That’s it!
