Happy Mother’s Day SSSFlickr Challenge #122

Hello hello my crafty friends. I’m oh so happy and grateful to be Simon Says Stamp Guest Designer for their Flickr Challenge #122. The theme is Mother’s Day/Flowers. Any Mother’s Day card or any card made using flowers will do. Please make sure Simon’s very own exclusive products (stamps, stencils or dies) are the main focus. I thought SSS Center Cut Flowers background stamp was a great choice for my first card. I used the center stamp which I stamped in embossing ink and heat set it in black.

I used my copics to color the flowers and leaves. The colors I chose are RV21, RV14 and RV13 for the flowers and YG21, YG17 and YG13 for the leaves.

Once I was done coloring my flowers and leaves, I chose a simple “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment from SSS Mother’s Day Zingers stamp set.

And I finished it off with a few drew drop embellishments and adhered it to a craft cardstock card base. That’s it! I do hope you play along in the challenge.
