Happy Mother’s Day – SSSFlickr Challenge #122
Hello hello. Thanks for stopping by for another tutorial. Today I’m sharing with you the last card for SSS Flickr Challenge #122 where I was so lucky to be the Guest Designer for this challenge. I encourage you for follow along. You’ll be able to see so much inspiration on Simon themed cards. It’s a fun challenge and you even have a chance to win a $25 SSS Gift Card. Head to the Flickr page for more details. https://www.flickr.com/groups/2480338@N20
I used SSS Sketch Lotus Flower stamp set for this card. I wanted to use my Polychromos to color this flower. I decided to stamp it on some craft paper and I used my anti static tool on my panel, inked up my stamp with embossing ink and used white WOW! Embossing power and heat set it.
I colored with the same concept as using Copics or even watercoloring: using darker colors at the bottom and middle to create dimension. Then use the lighter colors to blend out your image. You can use any bright colors you want for your flowers. You can even use your Copics or Watercolors if you don’t have polychromos.
To finish it off, I used a Happy Mother’s Day sentiment and some sequin embellishments.
That’s it! Super quick card made for Mom. Thank you for stopping by for todays tutorial. I hope you got some inspiration from this tutorial. The products I used to make this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time!
So pretty! Love your coloring on kraft! Thanks for sharing
