Blessed Are They That Mourn

Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by for another tutorial. Today’s card that I’m sharing aren’t really the type of cards we enjoy making. Still, we do need them. Sympathy cards are aren’t the best cards to have to make BUT they mean a lot to the recipient. It will make their day a little less sad. Let’s get started.

I started by using a trimmed down panel and started to apply my Wilted Violet distress oxide ink. Once I was done with that shade, I then applied Shaded Lilac. I only used the 2 colors for this card. Trying to keep it simple. I set it aside to dry.

While my panel was drying, I die cut my SSS Lotus Frame approx 5 times for dimension and I adhered them all together.

When my panel was fully dried, I inked up my SSS Outline Butterflies background stamp with embossing ink and used Glitter Metallic Silver Sparkle and heat set it.

I added my flower frame and finished my card off with a sentiment from SSS Tiny Words Faith. I used white heat embossing powder on a black piece of cardstock and heat set it. I wanted it to be simple and since the butterflies from the stamp was very visible, I didn’t use any embellishments for this card. That’s it!
