10th Anniversary of STAMPtember

Happy STAMPtember! Can you believe Simon Says Stamp has been celebrating STAMPtember for 10 yrs? And I’m honored to be apart of it for another year. I hope you will join the month long fun and inspiration, prizes and MORE! So let’s get started on today’s card.

The card I’m making today is coming from the stamp set exclusively for Stamptember. Its’s a great set called School Day’s Grow. My first card I started with SSS Pretty Peonies Background stamp on Simon’s 120lb white cardstock. I stamped it using Simon’s Intensive Black ink. This ink is PERFECT to use when you want to use your copics.

The copics I used was B69, B66, B63 and B60. The leaves I used YG17 and YG03. The last flower I used V17, V15 and V12. Once I colored all of the flowers, I used C3 in the gray to color in the white areas.

I trimmed down my stamped image and adhered it onto a piece of black cardstock. Once I was ready to place my panel onto my A2 card, I used some adhesive and attached it to my panel. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set under my panel in SSS Intensive Black to get that crisp look. I finished it off with a few embellishments.
