SSS Oct 2019 Card Kit

Hello hello! Thanks for coming back to another card tutorial. I’ll be showcasing how I made this elegant birthday card using the supplies that are in Simon’s Oct card kit. They have so so many goodies in this kit. Pattern paper that will make you swoon..stamp set and other fun surprises. If you’re not on getting they’re card kit monthly, I can tell you that you’re missing out on TONS OF FUN! So lets get started with this card.

I used one of the beautiful flower stamps that came in the stamp set. I treated my trimmed down A2 card panel with my anti static bag…inked up my stamp with some embossing ink and used gold embossing powder and heat set it.

Once I heat set my stamp, I colored on my flowers with one of the lightest color pencils in my Poly Chromo pencil set. Nothing major. Used a green color to color the leaves.

After I finished coloring, I used the foam letters that come in the card kit from Tim Holtz to spell out happy birthday.

That’s it! So so simple yet elegant. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you were able to get some inspiration from this card. The products I used to make this card and where they can be purchased are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time!
