Never Change Who You Are

Hello hello crafty friends. Welcome back to another tutorial. Today I’ll be sharing how I made this very feminine card…an encouragement type card. I’m using a background stamp (which you know is my fav) and just adding a little color to my embossed stamp. Let’s get started.

I used SSS Surf Blue carstock to stamp my image. My panel is A2 size but I trimmed it down after I embossed it. I used SSS Cosmos Bloom Background stamp and I inked it up with embossing ink. I added WOW Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and heat set it.

I used my copic markers to color the flowers. BG53, BG13 and BG0000. Starting with the darkest marker, I added color in towards the middle of the flowers, then blended it out with the lighter colors.

Once I was done coloring the flowers, I used C2 to add some shading in the open areas. I used a white gel pen to color the middle of the flowers..added a sentiment and some clear embellishments to finish off my card.
