Love You

Hello hello crafty friends. Welcome back to another tutorial. Today I’ll be sharing how I made this really cool Love You card I made. I was on Pinterest and I stumbled upon a “color chart” Simon had posts a few years back and I thought, “how fun would this be for a non traditional Valentine’s Day card!” (I was looking for alternative colors) So let’s get started.

Luckily, I had all of the colors in the chart! The color chart had SSS ink colors Slate, Smoke, Sea Glass, Audrey Blue and Fog. So I used SSS Brush Stroke stamp set and I inked up my stamp using each color.

Once I made sure I what I stamped was where I wanted it, etc. I cut out SSS Scribble Heart and Arrow. Unfortunately, its no longer available, however, you can use any heart and arrow.

I stamped the Love You from the SSS Thoughtful Messages in slate. I assembled my trimmed down panel onto an A2 card base ALSO in Slate (from Simon) and finished the card off using Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets.

That’s it! Pretty cool, huh?!!? Simon has so many color charts on Pinterest that you can look at and create things with. Thank you for stopping by. The products I used for my project and where I got them from are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. I’ll see you next time!
