Hello hello crafty friends. Thank you so much for coming back for another tutorial. Today I will be sharing how I made this card so that when you want to show someone how much you miss them, this card would be perfect. So let’s get started.

I began my project with some ink blending. I used Chipped Sapphire, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio oxide inks. I started with the darkest and blended..then the middle color…blended it with the darker color. Lastly, I added the lightest color. I went back and forth between the colors until i got a good enough gradient look. I set it aside for a bit to let it dry.

While my blending panel was drying, I cut out SSS Daisy Stem approx 6 times..for dimension. I made sure I didn’t run the die through my machine more than once, since I wanted to use that one as my base flower…or the flower I’m going to color.

I did some simple copic coloring on the petals and stem. I chose Y08, Y02 and Y06. The stem I used YG03 and let it dry..then I went back in where the leaves were to add a darker color. The center I used YR24 and Y08.

My ink blending panel was ready to emboss. So I inked up the SSS You Are background stamp with some embossing ink. I treated my panel with my anti static tool. I used SSS Clear embossing powder and I heat set it.

I die cut SSS/CZ Design Miss You using SSS Soft Navy. I cut it out approx. 3 times for dimension. When I stack things like this, I more times than not use my spray glue. Its’s easier in my opinion. Once I glued them, I stacked them and put them under something with a little bit of weight to ensure they are all stuck together. It’s time to assemble.

I trimmed down Neenah smooth Desert Storm 80lb cardstock. I also trimmed down my blending piece and adhered it using GinaK Connect Glue. Once everything was placed, I added some Little Lucky Pearl Silver Mix embellishments.

That’s it! A really nice card for that special someone that you miss terribly. They’re going to love it. Thank you for stopping by. The products I used to make this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. I hope to see you next time!

xoxo
