SSS Outline Floral Frame

Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by for another fun tutorial. Today I’ll be sharing how I made this encouragement card. A little ink blending, die cut and sentiment is all you need to root your person on. So let’s get started.

I began with my A2 size panel. Once I done ink blending, I’ll trim it down only enough to clean up the edges. I used Tattered Rose first..then I added Scattered Straw and then finally Hickory Smoke distress oxide inks. I went back and forth until the blending was smooth.

Next I cut out SSS Outline Floral frame with thick cardstock. I made sure I saved the middle of the frame. I wanted to put it back after I removed all of the floral cuts to use to put my sentiment on.

After slightly trimming my panel, I adhered the frame on top of my panel.

I used CZ Design You Got This stamp set for my sentiment. I finished off my card with some silver embellishments. That’s it! Quick and easy, right?

Thanks for stopping by. The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time!

Xoxo

  1. I especially like the background panel. I just realized it matches the cross from a previous release. I need to get it to compliment the cross die. Very pretty!

  2. Those colors for the blended background are amazing together!!!! I’m going to have to try this combination. Beautiful card!!
