Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by another tutorial. Today I’ll be sharing how I made this fun floral card using a stencil. So let’s get started.
I began by attaching my SSS Rose Bouquet Stencil to my A2 size panel using some washi tape. Something to keep the stencil in place while you color or outline the stencil. I used Antique Linen distress ink (lightly) to get my image onto my panel. Once I was done, I used my copics for coloring. The leaves I used YG 67, YG17 and YG03. I colored the roses with RV34, (currently out of stock at Simon), and RV 32.
Once all my coloring was done, I used a very light handed blend of Tea Dye distress ink and blended the outer edges. Then I used some white ink and splattered it on my panel. When I assembled my card, I trimmed down my panel to get clean edges and adhered it to my A2 card base. I used SSS All Things Happy Sentiment strips (out of stock at Simon, but keep checking back) and finished it up with some SSS Stay Gold embellishments.
That’s it. A warm, colorful floral card bound to make someone happy. Thank you for stopping by. The in stock products I used for this card are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. If the products are out of stock, keep checking back. I’ll see you next time!
