Altenew Texture Adventure Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello hello crafty friends. I’m so excited to be a guest designer for Altenew’s blog hop. I’ve got a few quick and easy projects to share with you, so lets get started.
My first project I used Altenew Layered Geo Cover Die A and B. I ran the die through my die cutting machine using Simon Says Stamp Smoke and Audrey Blue cardstock. I ran them through separately.

Once I did that, I grabbed my A2 size card base using Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I used spray glue to adhere my panel (the geo dies) because I find that its an easier was to adhere that type of die onto my card base.

I used the negative piece of the die cut to stamp my sentiment. I used white embossing powder and took the normal steps when it comes to heat embossing. I added some foam adhesive to the back of my sentiment and adhered it to my project. I finished it off with some embellishments from Studio Katia. That’s it for card one!

Card number 2 I began running the Thin Frame 3D die set through my die cutting machine. I did this 2 times (one for each side) I followed the directions that is on the back of the product sheet.

When I got all my pieces folded and ready to go, I used some Altenew Simple Nesting Flowers layering dies and ran it through my die cutting machine. (note: I had a distress inked panel laying around and I used that to cut my flowers out in) I used SSS Green Apple and Green Leaf card stock for the leaves.

When I was done die cutting, I stared to arrange my frame. I adhered them together to complete the frame. Then I started to attached the flowers and leaves on top of my frame. I finished it off with a sentiment in the middle. That’s card 2.

My last card, I used Altenew Stacked Diamond Cover die and I ran it through my die cutting machine. I ran it through twice on Neenah Solar white and SSS Ivory cardstock. Then I used the flower nesting dies and ran it through with various shades of cardstock.

I adhered my flowers and leaves together after I used some spray glue to adhere my diamond cover die cut on top of my panel. I finished off my project with a sentiment on black cardstock and some embellishments from Studio Katia.
