Hello hello crafty friends. I’m so excited to be a guest designer for Altenew’s blog hop. I’ve got a quick and easy project to share with you, so lets get started.

I started by stamping out my Altenew Calla Lily flower (available at Altenew stores exclusively) onto some Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I used SSS Intense Black ink because its copic friendly and I’ll be using my copics in todays project.

Once I stamped my image (stamp set available at Altenew exclusively), I started coloring it. I used the following copic colors: Flowers: BG18 Teal, BG15 Aqua and BG09 Blue Green. The leaves are G14 Apple Green, G07 Nile Green, G29 Pine Tree, YG03 and YG17.

When I completed my coloring, I grabbed a watercolor brush and used some gold water color and flicked it onto my panel. (I heat set it) I stamped the sentiment at the lower left side. I adhered my panel onto an A2 size card base using foam adhesive for dimension. I finished my card off with some embellishments from Lucy. See quick and easy, right?!? The products I used for this project and where you can purchase them are listed below. At no extra cost to you. So have fun on the hop and GOOD LUCK!

  3. Wonderful card. Love the blue flowers. Really like how you used different colors for the leaves. Gives a more defined look.

  4. Easy peasy, and beautiful! Love the blues and greens, and your splashes of gold here! I especially love the newest font that comes in this set, too!

  5. The speckles add so much. I LOVE the greens you chose, and the color of the flowers. How pretty.

  6. I love your perfect splatter on these. I have the hardest time doing that. The flowers are beautiful as well.

  7. Some really colorful florals shown here. Like the colors used with comic. Well its the last of the hop and a lovely card to end a good stamp set to introduce a beautiful Calla Lilly. Enjoyed the hop and all the great ideas from all the designers.

  8. Love the blue! The teals are gorgeous. The non-traditional color just really makes the Lily stand out and I love the various colors used for the leaves. For my taste this particular stamp has a little too much Greenery for the amount of flowers. But you’re use of the two different colors really help separate them out and made it look nice!

  9. So striking with your wonderful colour choices! Beautiful! Thanks so much for the inspiration. Take care! 🙂

  10. Not so sure I’d say “quick and easy”!! I’m so color challenged…LOL Your color palette and card design are simply stunning.

  14. Gorgeous card, gorgeous colors and coloring. I’m normally not a “splatter” person, but that background is absolutely beautiful.
