SSS Wednesday Challenge: Mama Elephant – Christmas Critters

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Christmas Critters. We are featuring products by Mama Elephant. I began by stamping out the Mama Elephant’s Oh Puppy Tree image using SSS Intense Black ink on top Neenah 80lb solar white cardstock. Then I colored each critter in different shades of browns and grays. I’ll list the colors below. When I was coloring, I used the coordinating die to cut my stamped image out. I set it aside.

I got an A2 size card panel in Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock and started to ink blend using Candied Apple, Festive Berry and Spun Sugar. I went back and forth until it was completely blended. I used some gold perfect pearl and white gouche and splattered it all over my card.

when I was done, I got my cut out and added some foam adhesive to the back and then adhered it to my panel. Then I adhered my panel to an A2 size card base. I used a sentiment from SSS and that completes my card. Easy right!?!?
