SSS Wednesday Challenge – MFT: Favorite Technique
Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is your favorite technique. We are featuring products by My Favorite Things. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I started with an A2 size panel using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Treat it with your anti static tool so we can heat emboss. Ink up the MFT Number Jumble background stamp with some versa mark ink and stamp your image. Sprinkle some clear SSS Embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set it with your heat setting tool.
Apply a light coat of Kitsch Flamingo distress ink on your panel until you reach half way up. Die cut your MFT Frosted Cupcake and apply a light coat of Kitsch Flamingo as well. Use some Tea Dye for the cupcake wrapper. Run the Hey Cupcake die with some Tonic Silver Cardstock. Assemble your card and finish it off with a few embellishments.

Fun birthday card. I’ll admit to not being a pink person, but you sure have me rethinking that line of thought. Love the color and how you used it. Always a good day when you see a post from Sidnie.
I agree with that. I’m for the most part all things of every shade of blue…but Kitsch Flamingo calls to me. Not as bold as Picked Raspberry and not as light as Spun Sugar.
