SSS Blooming Meadows Set

Hello hello crafty friends.  Welcome back.  Today I will be sharing how I made a fun springtime card with the right amount of wittiness.  Let’s begin.

I started off by getting a piece of Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock.  Grabbed my Simon inks and began stamping the flowers and leaves. Stamped SSS Intense Black ink for the lining.  I used – flowers:  Wisteria, Velvet Orchid and Thistle.  The leaves: Green Apple.

When finished,  get the coordinating die pieces and run everything through your Big Shot machine.

To give a little interest to the project, I ran a piece of Smoke cardstock from Simon with their Nautical Stripes as well (under the embossing tab on your die cutting machine)

I stamped out the You Are Always and To Raid The Liquor Cabinet on some Simon black cardstock and I used some Versamark embossing ink.  (make sure you treat your cardstock with your anti static tool)  I sprinkled on some white embossing powder, shook the excess off and heat set it with my heating tool.

Cut out the sentiments and run the Welcome die through your machine using black and white cardstock.  I adhered my card panel to an A2 size card base (neenah 80lb)  I attached some foam adhesive to the back of my panel.  Assembled my flowers. Picked them all up with some post it tape.  That I have it all assembled.  That way all I have to do is add some glue to the back and adhere it to my panel.  Attached my sentiments and finished my project with some clear droplets.
