SSS Wednesday Challenge: Doodlebug Patterned Paper
Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is 2 or more patterned paper. We are featuring products by Doodlebug. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I got one piece of patterned paper from Doodlebug’s BAB-B-Cute pack and trimmed it down (the red polka dots) I used a piece of patterned paper from Doodlebug Gingham Linen Rainbow pack and used that when cutting out the shadow piece in the Hugs die from CZ Designs. Run that through your die cutting machine. Then run the sentiment through using Neenah Solar white 110lbs cardstock. (approx 3 times for dimension)
Next I stamped my cans from SSS Foodie Friends on some Neenah Solar white 80lbs cardstock, and I used SSS Intense Black ink because I used my copics. Blue: B12 & B16 Red: R29, R35 and R27.
I got a A2 size card base using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock and got a piece of the blue cardstock and glued it on my card base. Then I added the red polka dotted piece of cardstock. I added a a trimmed down panel and added the hugs word sentiment. I added the soda cans and finished off my card with some hearts.
