SSS Wednesday Challenge: Simon Says Stamp – Birthday!

🥳Happy hump day, crafty friends❣️We have a brand new Wednesday challenge on the Simon Says Stamp blog. 🥳🥳 This week we are celebrating the Wednesday Challenge’s 12th Birthday so the theme is: Birthday 🎉 We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Every birthday deserves a special treat so the lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away not one but TWO fabulous prizes!

All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! I started this card by getting a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock.  Used SSS Mini Slimeline frames and ran it through my die cutting machine.

Ink blend Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron using Shaded Lilac first.  I went back and forth with the colors until I got a good blend.

Get your SSS Confetti stencil and apply some Pixie spray  to the back of the stencil and adhere it to your panel.  Use a heavier hand when you’re using the stencil and apply the same colors over on your panel.

Use a palette knife and apply some Nuvo Moonstone glimmer paste evenly over the stencil. Once you get an even coat, wash your palette knife and stencil immediately.  Let your panel dry.

Stamp the CZ Design Narwhal and friends on some Solar white 80lb cardstock using your Misti.  Color them using your copics (colors are at the bottom)  Cut our your images using the coordinating die cuts with your die cutting machine.

Run the SSS Brush Script Happy Birthday die cut through your die cutting machine using some black cardstock for the shadow part of the die and some Neenah solar white 100lb for the word part.  Adhere them together using some Connect Glue.

Add your panel to some SSS Lavender cardstock as a card base with some foam tape.  Apply your Narwhal images to your panel and the happy birthday.  Finish your card off with some embellishments.
