SSS Wednesday Challenge Impression Obsession – Sending Hugs
Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Sending Hugs. We are featuring products by Impression Obsession. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I started by getting a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock at the size of a mini slimline. I treated it with my anti static tool since I’ll be heat embossing my image. Inked up my Impression Obsession Peony pattern stamp using VeraMark embossing ink. Sprinkled some SSS Clear embossing powder, shook off the excess and heat set my image using my heating tool.
I inked blended my panel using Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade. I used my ink blending brushes and ink blended each other on my panel going back and forth until my blend was even.
Used SSS Slimline frames and ran it through my die cutting machine. Stamped the Sending Hugs sentiment using SSS Intense Black ink and trimmed it to fit on my panel. Used some foam adhesive tape and adhered the sentiment to my panel. Got my Gina K connect glue and used it on the back of my panel and adhered it to my card base using Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. Finished off my panel with a few embellishments.
