SSS Wednesday Challenge: WOW Embossing – Emboss It!

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Emboss It. We are featuring products by WOW! Embossing Powder. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.

I started with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock.  I’m using my Misti stamping tool, so put the SSS Damasks Background stamp inside the too.  Treat the panel with an anti static tool.  Ink up the stamp with some VeraMark embossing ink.  Stamp image on your panel. (I do it twice to get a complete image)  Add the following powders to your panel in the following order: Wow Oasis, Bluetiful and Angel Eyes powders. Sprinkle carefully in each area and try not to get the powders back in the right container.  Once all the powder is on your panel, heat set it with your heat tool.

Run the SSS Happy Birthday die through your die cutting machine using the same cardstock as you did for your panel.  Ink it up with embossing ink and add some Oasis embossing powder and heat set it.  Also run the border through your die cutting machine using SSS Vellum.

Trim down your panel to get the edges clear and allow a nice border when attaching it to your card base.  Use an A2 size card base using SSS Dark Chocolate cardstock and adhere your panel to it using glue. Attach your sentiment in the middle also with glue.  Finish off your card with some embellishments.
