SSS Wednesday Challenge: Hero Arts – Summertime Blues
Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Summertime Blues. We are featuring products by Hero Arts. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I began with getting an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. I used some Post It tape to mask off in the middle of my card panel. I used the following colors for the top portion is this order: Seedless Preserve, Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmons and Mustard Seed distress inks. I used Simon’s new ink blending brushes and went back and forth until its blended.
Remove that mask and add a fresh piece. I ink blended the following colors for the lower portion of my panel in this order: Blueprint Sketch and Prize Ribbon.
Run your Safari Sunset through your die cutting machine using SSS Black cardstock.
Trim down your panel and then adhere it to an A2 size card base using Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. Glue the sunset die cut to your panel and add your sentiment. Finish off your card with some embellishments.
