SSS Wednesday Challenge: Clearly Besotted – Add A Sentiment
Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Add A Sentiment. We are featuring products by Clearly Besotted.. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I started with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. Spray some Pixie Spray on the back of SSS In The Round stencil and attach it to your panel. I used the following distress inks: Prize Ribbon, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. I used my SSS ink blender brushes and went from darkest to lightest. Use a semi heavy hand when you apply the ink. Once the ink is applied, remove the stencil, clean it off and then apply the some more ink but use a lighter hand.
Stamp Clearly Besotted Fairy Tale Mermaid stamp in some SSS Intense Black ink, since I’ll be doing some copic coloring. I stamped it on some Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock.
I used the following copic markers to color my image:
Hair: R59, R46, R35 Skin: E13, E11, E01, E00 – Tail: V17, V15, V12 – Rock: C00, C01, C03, C05 Fish: Y19, YR04, YR14, YR09 – Plant: YG67, YG17, YG03 Shell: R35, R43, R22 I cut out my image.
Trimmed down my panel and adhered it to an A2 size panel. I used some foam tape on the mermaid and attached it to my panel. Finished my card off with some embellishments.
