SSS Wednesday Challenge: Stampendous – Cold as Ice

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Cold as Ice.  We are featuring products by Stampendous. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.

I began by using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. I ran my SSS Snowflake Trio die through my die cutting machine.  I used gold once and white cardstock 5 times for dimension.

I ink blended my A2 size panel using Prize Ribbon, Blueprint Sketch and a little Salty Ocean distress inks using Simon’s blending brushes.  I went from dark to light to get an even blend.

When I was done ink blending, I added s few water drops to my card.  I stamped my sentiment on some Simon black cardstock and heat embossing it with some white embossing powder.

I trimmed down a piece of silver cardstock and added it to my A2 size card base using Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock.  I added my ink blended panel on top of that using some foam adhesive tape.  Added my snowflakes and trimmed off the overhang.  Added my sentiment and finished off my card using some embellishments.
