Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Days Blog Hop: Day 1
Hello hello crafty friends and welcome back to another tutorial. I’m extremely excited to be apart of Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop Day 1 for their Just For You release. Begin by stamping the SSS Mother’s Day Dogwood image (2 different times) onto some white cardstock using SSS Black Intense Black ink as I will be using my copics to color the image.
I used the following colors to color the flowers and stems/leaves: R83, RV34 and RV10 for the flowers. YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the stems and leaves. I just did basic copic coloring.
Run the image with the coordinating die through your die cutting machine. You can also run the SSS Ringlet Wafer Plate using white cardstock.
Trim down your panel and attach the flowers on it using foam tape. Cut off the pieces that hang over the edges. Stamp the sentiment in the middle of the flowers. Then attach it to an A2 size card base using SSS Soft Navy Cardstock. Finish off your card with some embellishments.
