Autumn Blessings

Hello crafty friends. I’m so very sorry for taking so long to post my cards on here. It’s been a crazy month for me and my family. I know some of you moms can relate. Our kids keep us very very busy. Anyway, today’s card was inspired by my cat-tail plant in my backyard. I was out picking lemons from our tree and I saw the cattails blowing in the wind. It really reminded me of the beginning months of Autumn. So lets get started!

I cut out the SSS Cattail Triptych die on brown cardstock. I wanted to make the cattails in a different color to signify fall.
I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Candied Apple distress inks to get the perfect fall colors. I then cut out a second cattail and cut the tips of each one of them. Using Gina K’s connect glue to glue on each tip. I wanted to add a sky just to give that extra fall feel.

I adhered the image on a white A2 card base. I chose white embossing powder for my sentiment so it would stand out from the dark brown cardstock. To finish it off, I added a few embellishment dots.
That’s it! A super simple unique card with lots of Fall feels. Thanks you so so much for stopping by. I’m so sorry again for taking so long. I hope I’ll see you back here for my next card.
