My First Blog Post!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by. This will be my first blog post and I’m soooo excited! Today’s card is from the Simon Says Stamp Everything Together set here. I had so much fun with this card because it is so easy to make. Sometimes you just want to send a quick note or card to your special someone, but you don’t have a lot of time. Today’s card is PERFECT for those occasions. So lets get started.

Most of the materials I used is from the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit. I stamped the flowers from the Everything Together stamp set using VersaMark in for embossing. I sprinkled Ranger white embossing powder here and heat set it…and set it aside. I cut down the accent paper so it can peek out from under the main card. I like using a really thin adhesive tape because I find it to be easier to apply so that it won’t get stuck to my fingers. I wanted to add some dimension to the card so I used double sided foam adhesive tape to give a little depth to the card. Finally, I used the sentiment in the SSS Everything Together stamp set to finish the card off.
