Bikinis ARE like fries..

Hello hello hello! I’m back with a fun summer card that’s going to make you wish summer was all year round just to have a reason to make it. Today’s card is made from the Simon Says Stamp Sea You Soon stamp set. I got this fun stamp from their July 2017 Card Kit. Such a fun, summertime kit. It also came with the bikini wafer die. I love monthly kits like this because I can pair this stamp with other things and create a card that is unique each summer that will make people say, “WOW, that’s a great card!” I’ll link all the supplies I used to make this card below so you’re able to see where I got them. So, what do you say…let’s get started with this fun card…shall we?

The kit came with sample pattern paper but used it all last year so I purchased the complete 12×12 pack. The paper is called Echo Park Summer Dreams and its so much fun. It being double sided made it really fun cutting out and mixing the bikinis.

Once I cut out all of the bikinis, I found a paper from the same pack that worked perfectly. I wanted to choose a fun panel to give the card a summer feel to it, so I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hills Borders die.

I stamped my sentiment in the middle of the card using black ink from Simon Says Stamp. I love that ink because its so crisp, bold and clean. I love how it pops when you use Neenah solar white cardstock. I used some adhesive foam tape to attach the stitched border panel to my A-2 card base. I switched around the bikinis to make it more fun. Then I finished it off with the silver sequins just to add a little shine.

That’s it! A fun, unique summer time card that will have your friends and family happy they received one. Thanks for stopping by..hope to see you next time.
