Be Still And Know..

Hello hello crafty friends. Thank you so much for stopping by. Today I’ll be sharing how I made another great springtime card. I paired it with a great sentiment guaranteed to put a smile on your loved ones face. So let’s get started.

First, I cut out the butterflies using SSS Stitched Butterflies die cut using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Once I was done cutting out my butterflies, I colored them with my Copics. YR09, YR07 and YR15. Just a little coloring. Nothing too fancy. When I was done with that, I place the butterfly cut outs on a scratch piece of paper and sprayed them with Gold Sheer Shimmer Spray. It is currently out of stock at SSS, but I still provided the name of the product below so you can see what it looks like and maybe find it at other location.

I placed the butterflies aside so they can dry while I worked on the clouds. I used SSS Picture Book Sky Background die cut. But before I did that, I grabbed a little bit of Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass in the oxide inks and added a bit to a piece of cardstock. I cut out 2 backgrounds. One on white cardstock and the one I distressed. Once I did that, I arranged it on my card panel. My butterflies were dried and so I place them on my panel as well. I used the sentiments from SSS Tiny Words Faith stamp set. That’s it! A great card for your special someone that would surely put a smile on their face.
