We Love

Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for coming back to another tutorial. Today I will show you how I made this bright and colorful Easter card. I’m feeling more and more comfortable with ink blending. The more I do it, the better my blends are. I think that’s the secret to ink blending..practice, practice, practice. Let’s get started.

The first thing I did was to get a panel cut to A2 card size using cardstock. I treated my panel with my anti static tool and inked up my SSS Center Cut Burst with embossing ink. I used WOW’s white embossing powder and I heat set it.

I wanted to make this card using bright colors and so I chose Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade and Worn Lipstick. Starting with Broken China distress oxide ink, I blending the bottom right corner of my panel. I blend it trying to stop towards the middle of the card so I can put my sentiment there. I went onto Cracked Pistachio and repeated the process…etc etc. Make sure your ink is blended well.

Once I was happy with my ink blending, I chose a lovely sentiment from SSS Blessed stamp set. I added a few embellishments from Studio Katia Shimmering Ice Fusion Sequins. That’s it! A great Easter card to brighten your loved ones day.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked today’s project. The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time 🙂
