Thinking Of You At Easter

Hello hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by for another tutorial. Today I will show you how I made this great colorful card for your special someone for Easter. Easter to me is pastel colors and so I wanted to use those soft colors for this card. Simple. Let’s get started!

First off, I grabbed Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed and Moved Lawn oxide inks and started blending them. Started with Mowed Lawn and then Worn Lipstick and finally Mustard Seed. I used the same technique as I have been using: start blending from the bottom and lighten up as you go up your panel. Getting it lighter will help you blend the next color more smoothly.

Once I was done with blending my inks, I used SSS Filagree Bunny die cut and cut it out on a 4″x5.25 panel. Then I used SSS Stitched Oval die and used that on another same size panel as the Bunny.

Assembly time! On an A2 size card, I put my blended colors under my Bunny (using Gina K connect glue) and once I put that together, I put my oval cut out on top of my bunny. Then I adhered that to my A2 card. I used a sentiment from SSS Tiny Words Faith stamp set and I heat set it with white embossing powder. I finished it off using some green and white bakers twine.

That’s it! VERY simple card yet it is very unique. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you found this tutorial helpful. All the products I used to make this card and where I got them are listed below. Just click on the image and go shopping 🙂 See you next time!!
