SSS May Card Kit – Delicate Flowers

Hello hello! Thank you for stopping by. Today will be a super quick tutorial of a card I made using some Alcohol Ink Pearls that comes in the new card kit. These alcohol pearls have a beautiful shimmer to them..so soft. I can definitely see myself getting more of them. Let’s get started on this colorful card.

First I trimmed down the Yupo paper that comes inside the kit. Not too much because once I’m finished, I’d like to trim it down a bit more just to tidy it up. This part doesn’t need much direction. You add your color in the areas that you desire. You will need to use the blending solution to get the ink moving. Some people use straws, but I just blow on the area I want to mixed together. Add more color and solution until you get the look you’re going for.

You need to let it dry for a bit. After I put my panel aside to dry, I trimmed down the silver glitter cardstock. I used a sentiment from the stamp set from the kit and heat embossed it in white on black cardstock.

Once my panel was dried, I trimmed it down a bit more and started to assemble my card. I wanted the colors from the alcohol pearls speak for itself so I left it as is. That’s it!
