Technique Tuesday

Today for this hop, I’ll be sharing how I made this super fun summertime card. Do those berries look yummy or what!?!? Makes me feel like it’s summer time. Let’s get started.

I began this card using Technique Tuesday’s Berry Basket crafting die set and Sweet Summertime stamp set. I cut out the strawberries using red card stock and the stems in green. I cut out approx 10-12 ea. and set it aside.

I wanted the basket to look like it would come from a farmer’s market, so I cut it out using craft paper and used Copic colors E13 and E15 to give it some “character”.

I used Salty Ocean distress oxide on a plain piece of white card stock to I can add my basket of strawberries on. I used Mowed Lawn oxide ink for the panel so I can put my blue panel on top of. I carefully adhered my basket and started to add my strawberries..some overlapping for dimension. I used a sentiment from Sweet Summertime stamp set using WOW! Embossing ink and used Opaque Bright White powder and heat set it. Finished off this card with a few strawberries at the side.

That’s it! Super fun summertime card. Thanks for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you. The products I used to make this card and where I purchased them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time!
