I Love You

Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for coming back to another tutorial. Today I’m sharing how to make a beautiful Valentine’s Day card with distress oxide inks. Let’s get started.

I inked up my SSS Center Cut Heart Background stamp with embossing ink. Once I treated my panel with my anti static tool, I stamped my panel, used SSS White Embossing powder and heat set it.

I used Aged Mahogany Oxide ink to start off with. (darkest to lightest) I then added my second color Worn Lipstick and finally Tattered Rose. Going back and forth, I made sure my blending was properly blended. Sometimes I ink blend after I stamp my image..other times I ink blend first.

I used the coordinating die of this stamp to cut out the heart shape. I used Schoolhouse Red with the SSS Deco Heart die. I assembled my card and finished it off with some embellishments. That’s it! A great Valentine’s Day card. You can also change up the sentiment and turn it into a birthday card or even a get well soon card. The sky’s the limit. Thank you for stopping by. The products I used for this project and where I got them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. See you next time.
