SSS Mod Poinsettia Oval Die Cut

Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for coming back to another tutorial. It’s going to be a super quick one today. Thoughtful cards are just as fun as “Thank You” card as the possibilities are ENDLESS. This clean and simple card will definitely go over beautifully. So let’s get started.

 

 

I stated by cutting out my SSS Mod Poinsettia using SSS Ultra Thick #120 white cardstock. I love using this cardstock especially when I want to stack my die cuts for dimension.

 

 

Once I cut my die out approx 4 times, I made sure I didn’t cut out one of them completely and I colored the leaves/flower on that one. I used YG67, YG17 and YG03. (Darkest times lightest)

 

 

I stacked my ovals on top of the colored one (make sure you remove the leaves before you adhere them on top of the colored one)

 

 

I used SSS Clear Stamps Sentiments for the sentiment and placed it right in the middle of the oval. (You will do that after you assembled your card on an A2 size card base..I also added some double adhesive foam tape for a bit more dimension. I finished my card with a few embellishments.
