SSS Be Kind Set / The World Needs..

Hello hello crafty friends.  Thanks for stopping by for another tutorial.  Today I will be sharing how I made this super colorful thoughtful card using a stamp set and distress ink…so let’s get started.

I started my card by stamping the leaves in SSS Be Kind stamp and coordinating die set on some neenah solar white 80lb cardstock.  I treated my paper with my anti static tool before I stamped my image.  I used SSS Embossing ink and stamped out approx 6 leaves bundles.  I used my acrylic block for this.  When I was done with stamping my image, I used SSS Clear embossing powder on them and shook off the leftover back into the jar.  I heat set the images with my heat gun.

Then I used  and ink blended the following distress inks:  Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet.  Wipe off the leaves with a clean paper towel so that you can see the leaves better through the ink.

When I was done with blending, I used the coordinating die and ran each one through my die cutting machine.  I also die cut my sentiment from SSS The World Needs…in their silver glitter cardstock and used black cardstock for the shadow piece.

I started to assemble my card by arranging my leaves in various areas of my panel (slightly trimmed Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock) by adding some foam adhesive to some and Gina K connect glue to others to create dimension for my card.  Once I was done, I adhered it to a black A2 size card base and added my sentiment in the middle.  Finished up my card with some Pretty Pink Posh clear embellishments.
