Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Tim Holtz Favorite Tools

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week it is all about Your Favorite Tools. We are featuring products by Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge Deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com or you can click the image above. So let’s get started with the project I sharing with you today!

I started by getting an A2 size and attached my Tim Holtz Layering Brick stencil to it. Then I grabbed my distress oxide inks and began to apply Espresso, Faded Jeans and Speckled Egg. (in that order)

Once my panel was blended, I removed the stencil and cleaned it off. I trimmed it down to get that clean border on my card base.

I used SSS Crocus Flowers die cut and I ran it through my die cutting machine approx 5 times and adhered them using spray glue.

I began to assemble my card and I used SSS Fog cardstock for my card base and made it A2 size. I used some foam tape and adhered it to my panel. I stamped my sentiment on black cardstock and used some white embossing powder and cut it out using the coordinating die. I adhered it to my panel and attached my flowers. That’s it! A fun card using my favorite Tim Holtz’s tools. Thank you for stopping by. The products I used to make this card and where you can purchase them are listed below. All you have to do is click on the image and go shopping. I’ll see you next time!
