I started my first card with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I inked up my SSS Old Letter background stamp using SSS Dark Chocolate ink. I used my Misti to make are I got a good enough impression.

When I was done with stamping my panel, I trimmed down my panel, then grabbed my Antique Linen distress ink and applied the ink around the edges. I put that off to the side to start on the other items for my card.

I stamped my SSS Autumn Leaves set on some Neenah cardstock using SSS Clear embossing ink. (make sure you treat your cardstock before you ink it using your anti static tool) After i inked up my leaves, I used SSS White embossing powder and heat set it.

I used my distress inks Crackling Campfire, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and applied it on my embossed leaves. When I was done blending, I used the coordinating die to cut the leaves out. (using my die cutting machine)

I got some SSS Schoolhouse Red cardstock (my favorite) and used it to cut out the SSS Vibes die. I did this approx 4 times and I glued them for dimension.

I used SSS Dark Chocolate cardstock and used it as a card base. I adhered my panel to some fun foam and attached it to my card base. I arranged my leaves and sentiments and glued it using GinaK connect glue. I finished off my card with some SSS Stay Gold embellishments. And that’s what I did for card #1

Card #2 I started by cutting out some SSS Lipstick Red (my fav color cardstock) using SSS Nested Slimline Rectangle frames.

I treated my slimline panel with my anti static tool because I’ll be embossing my panel. I inked up my SSS Slimline Scene Builder stamp set with some clear embossing ink. Once I stamped my trees, I used some gold embossing powder and heat set it. I also inked up the “Merry” image from SSS Holiday Sparkle Greetings, stamped it on my panel, used some gold embossing powder and heat set it .Then I inked up the snow stamp (that’s in the same stamp set) and used some white embossing powder and heat set it.

I got a piece of Neenah 80lb cardstock and applied my embossing ink all over the paper. I added some gold embossing powder and heat set it. (I did this 3 times total to get a smooth result) I used SSS Slimline Christmas die and cut it out with the gold embossed cardstock. Then I cut out the shadow in vellum. Adhered it under my “Merry” sentiment. I attached my panel using the same color Cardstock for the card base. I finished off my card with some white embellishment gems.

That’s it! 2 fun and simple cards using products from Simon’s newest release Make Merry. I’ve listed all of the brand new items in the release below for your convenience.
