SSS Wednesday Challenge – Paper Rose: Layer It Up

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week we are layering it up. We are featuring products by Paper Rose. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s get started with my card.

I started off gathering SSS Lipstick Red, Bright Yellow and Peel Orange cardstock and ran the Paper Rose Wildflower 2 die cut through my big shot with the different color cardstock (3 each) I used my Gina K connect glue and adhered them together.

I lightly drew a circle in pencil where I want the wreath to go. starting with red, I arranged the flower die around the circle using my connect glue as I went.

When I was done arranging and gluing I erased the visible pencil markings around my wreath. I inked up my SSS Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set (Just a note sentiment) with SSS Dark Chocolate ink and stamped it on white cardstock. I used some fun foam on the back of the cut out sentiment and adhered it in the middle of my wreath. I also used SSS Stitched Rectangle to cut out my panel and then used SSS Detail Pedal plate. I adhered everything on an A2 size card base and finished it up with some embellishments.

That’s it! Easy, right?!!? Now its your turn. All of the products I used to make my card and envelop and where I got them is listed below. his blog contains paid advertising banners and some contextual affiliate links. Banners and affiliate links may be used at no additional cost you – this means I get paid a small commission when you shop with a company using a link I provide. Good luck and I’ll see you next time.

How gorgeous is this!! I love the colourful wreath and the die cut background, so very pretty 🙂
Hope you have a great week!
