SSS Wednesday Challenge – SSS DIEcember

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Diecember Die cuts. We are featuring products by Simon Says Stamp. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s get started with my card.

I started off with an A2 size card panel using Simon #120 white cardstock. I grabbed my Picked Raspberry, Warn Lipstick and Spun Sugar distress inks and blended them going back and forth from darkest to lightest.

When I was done blending, I grabbed my SSS Scattered Stars Stencil and some Texture Transparent Gloss paste by Ranger and applied it over my stencil with my craft knife. (make sure you wash it off as soon as you’re done applying your paste) When I was finished with my pasted, I sprinkled some Tim Holtz Rock Candy and put my panel to dry. Great time to clean off your stencil and knife.

When your panel is completely dried, trim off the ends of your panel to clean it up. Then I grabbed my Hello die cut from CZ Design and I cut it out using SSS Champagne Glitter Cardstock. I used some vellum to cut out the shadow.

I adhered my Hello cut onto my vellum and then adhered that to my panel using Connect Glue from GinaK. I cut out a sentiment from the With Sympathy reverse sentiment strips and used some connect glue with that as well. I added some foam adhesive to my panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base using SSS #120 white cardstock.

That’s it! Easy, huh?!? The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you next time and good luck!
