SSS Wednesday Challenge – Whimsy Stamps: Sparkle and Shine

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Sparkle and Shine. We are featuring products by Whimsy Stamps. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them.  Challenge deets are over at

I began my card by stamping out my image on some Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock using SSS Intense Black Ink because I’ll be using my copic markers. The stamp set I’m using is called Tweetie Pie. I used my Mini Misti in stamping my images.

I used R59, R29 and R35 for the reds in my images. BG18, BG13, BG11 for the aqua colors. My branch I used E29, E27, E23 and E40 for the branch.

I stamped SSS Slimeline Scene Builder for my background. I ink blended the background with my Distress Oxide inks: Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass. I used my blending tools and went from dark to light. And when my panel dried I used my white jelly roll pen to add the snow. I trimmed down my panel and added some fun foam and added it to my card base. That’s it. Easy right!?!

The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you next time and good luck!
