Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for coming back for another tutorial. There’s a Instagram Hop going on right now over on Simon Says Stamp’s Instagram so if you want to enter in the giveaway, head over there. (this is for 1-22-21) I’ve got a quick and easy project that I would like to share with you, so lets get started.
I started my project with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. I used the die cut from the SSS Best Friend Ever stamp and coordinating die set and cut out the piece right in the middle. I ran it through my Platinum 6 die cutting machine. I removed that negative piece and I added some ink splatter on it before I put it to the side to work on the other part of my project.
When that part was completed, I inked up my image from the above stamp set using SSS Intense Black ink since I’ll be doing some Copic coloring and that ink is copic friendly. I used a scrap piece of cardstock to do that. Then I started coloring: I used RV34, RV32 and RV02 for the flowers and YG67, YG17 and YG03 for the leaves.
I started assembling my project by adding some foam adhesive to the back to my card panel onto an A2 size card base (I trimmed it down to get a nice border before I adhered my card to the base) Then I adhered my cut our image which I used with the coordinating die right in the center of my panel. I added a sentiment from CZ Design Reverse Lucky sentiment strips. And that’s it! Easy, right?
The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and if you want to enter the IG Hop Giveaway, head over to Simon’s page.
